Well it hasn’t actually been done but if everything works as everyone else says, well it should be possible. See if you follow my logic:

  • TigerDirect.com has a eMachines W3611 $239 desktop, Refurbished Intel Desktop PC – Intel Pentium 4 631 3.0GHz, 512MB DDR2, 160GB HDD, DVD±RW DL, Flash Media Reader, 10/100 LAN, Windows Vista Home Basic.
  • Nice enough, so what about the other $100???
  • From LifeHacker I found this article about Run Linux and get money back on your PC

    • The comment that really got me thinking was about half way down, if you did this with one of the Black Friday specials (day after Thanksgiving) could you end up with a free computer or they pay you?
